Cape Grace Congregational Church began as a Bible study in the home of the Meirings in Century City, Cape Town and has since grown into a fully-fledged community church in the same suburb. Rev Philipp Hauf was called to Cape Town with his wife to pioneer and pastor the church. The church has consolidated and grown in leaps and bounds with faithful men and women, boys and girls. We are heartened to see visitors pop in on a weekly basis to hear God’s Word preached. We thank the Lord for the privilege to act as a lighthouse to share the wonderful Gospel message in a dark and desperate world.
We believe Jesus Christ is the true Head of our church and the pastorate and board merely servants of God and his people. We are not subject to any other body or hierarchy, but exist as an autonomous church which places the Scriptures as our authority. We invite all members to partake in big decisions in terms of our congregational format, as we believe each Christian is a partner with us in God’s greater economy. We invite all to attend our services, irrespective of one’s religious, social or personal background.
We look forward to have you join us as we make inroads here in the beautiful ‘mother city’.
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
